In Focus - B Projekt
Started his career as a DJ when he got his first "break" to be a resident at a exclusive venture called “Provogue Lounge” in Mumbai.
At the age of 21 he was handling the nightclub.
It all started with the club being packed on weekends, and all he focused on was rocking the place. After a short period of time B-Projekt aka Dj Bunty met his partners and formed “Plan B Entertainment” which now is at the top for managing & promoting nightclubs. This is when they decided to hold their own events at various venues in the city. An exclusive event business was begun and B-Projekt played at all events hosted by “PLAN B”.
B's London trip was an eye opener when it came to growing as an artist. It showed a different side of DJ’in which he dint see in Mumbai i.e. Music Production. He began to get greedy to produce his own music and play it to the audiences in Mumbai. By this time his company Plan B already had a hold at Mumbai’s top Night clubs catering to crème crowd at packed events.
By now B-Projekt was burning with a new found zeal to make his own music. Wanted to create it, mix it and present it to my crowd. He decided to leave the city for a while and head to London to complete his Audio & Music Production degree from London School of Sound. This was a new beginning of sorts, one with no looking back. He knew he had to come back and start working on his “Album” which he always dreamt of since I started DJ’in. His first thought was to make a “Remix” album which had 10-12 remixes of old Bollywood songs and that's where the aspiration ended.
Suddenly everything changed, when the concept of a MUSIC PRODUCER / DJ came in the picture. During the journey he kept getting influenced by Timbaland, Kayne West, Dr. Dre & even A.R Rahman. They all had their own music where as he was just planning to remix old Bollywood songs. This gave him motivation to produce his own music, and thats where he found a new side to himself "PRODUCER" and started with a Punjabi Track which u will now hear under the track name “Ni Soniye” ft. Juggy D. In his debut productions one should look for a fresh electronic sound which blends with Indian instruments and gives a punchier unique
sound.
